One thing that I have found to be true is the fact that the aboundance of God is readily available to us at all times. The thing that keeps us separated from this aboundance is our our thinking. When our thoughts are conformed to the worlds way of thinking we separate our reality from the reality of God. God's reality is always the same as his character, one of abundance & blessing. Ask God to show you how you can come into agreement with the will of God for you life. Agreement with his will is the access point of his aniointing, grace, and aboundance!

The way that you can see ego most clearly is in our desire for more. We will always need things, but ego causes up to equate our self-worth with our possessions. So, ego is @ work when we say ''I don't have enough''. The real message in the sub-conscious is ''I am not enough'' unless I have this or that to identify with. Our value has to be found in our purpose for being created. The simple awareness of ego is enough to being to break its grip on our life.

Face it, things are going to happen today that have the potential to get you upset. My challenge to you to day is to allow thing to happen, yet avoid allowing your normal emotional reaction. Will getting mad help you find lost things, if your already late for something will getting mad get you there any faster, will raising you voice really help you get you point across? Don't get lost in the reaction: When you get lost in your emotional reactions to small thing you lose yourself, & you will find it easier & easier to get upset over the nothings of life. If you were to learn that you only had two weeks to live what things that you given attention daily would suddenly loss there importance? In all reality, if it would'nt be important with two weeks to live it is in essence not important at all! Use this idea the next time you are tempted to worry or be stressed.

You have to be like an ocean, there may a storm raging on the surface, but beneath there is always unceasing calm. Your daily life is the surface of the ocean, your spirit man is the area beneath. What is happening on the surface of your life can only affect your spirit man if you allow yourself to identify to closely with whatever is happening to you. Situations are only on the surface, use prayer to go deeper!

Who are you?

Never allow your functions to become a roles. I functions as my childrens father, but it I find myself treating my 21 year old like a 5 year old I have allowed my function to become a role. Or the teacher that has made it their job to correct everyone! You are not the functions that you fulfil. When your functions becomes a role, who you think you are, you will find yourself very frustrated when your physical limitations & situation want allow your continue. Our essential essence is spirit, created in the image of God, not form, created from the dust of the earth.

The Mind

We are not the thoughts that we think. If we can be aware of our thoughts then we need to see that God create us to be greater than the thoughts themself. Stop allowing your mind to control your life! The bible tells us to cast down imagination, which are thoughts. Before we can cast a thoughts down we have to be aware that the thought is not beneficial to us. The training of the mind, to have this awareness is the key to freeing yourself of needless frustrations, worry & complaint. Ask the Lord to make you more aware of when you are being controlled by your thoughts.

Ego

Studies have shown that 95% of all disagreements are simply individual EGOs seeking to express their desire to be right. Ego causes us to identify so closely with our thoughts that if a person disagrees with us we take it as a personal attack. People like this usually have few close friends. In our walk with Christ we all have to guard against the influence of ego. It is hard, because the EGO speak through our thoughts & speaks in first person: ''I feel, I think, I believe etc...'' The key is to guard against defending your opinions & your need to be right.

We have been made to think that the devil is our greatest enemy. In reality our greatest enemy is the inner-me, known as the ego. The biggest problem with ego is the way that it causes you to find your identity in things & titles. When these things & titles are lost apart of their identity is also. We must remember, we are not what we do or what have. All this is materialism identification. God doesn't mind us having things or hold titles, but the only thing God want us to identify with is Him.

There are so many beautiful things around us that we are missing! The moment you name and object the mind start becoming familiar with it. Anything you are familiar with losses its ability to keep our attention. As a results the mind previous beautiful flowers as nothing more than another plant. Beautiful sunsets become just the end of another days. Etc. Ask God to show you the beauty that is around you everyday and to make you aware of the times you are viewing the world as interpreted by the mental labels we have give them. God said what he create was good, and it still is! The only thing that has changed is our preception of His goodness.

Stop Fighting

We never really fight against other people. What we fight against is what we don't understand about them, that many times is very present in us. We should seek to understand then to be understood.

Truth

Because we are our nature and it is part of us & we apart of it there is no way we can see ourselves entirely free of its influence.

We need godly people that we can trust to speak, without agendas, into our lives. People that will share with us the naked truth about our flawed characters & attitudes. The bible says the truth will make you free. The true you receive about yourself not only frees you but empowers you!

80-20

80-20 rule if taken to heart has the power to change your life! The 80-20 rule says that if you have a party 20% of the people will eat 80% of the food. If you have a staff that you oversee 20% of the staff will end up having to do 80% of the work. In your personal life only 20% of the people you call friends & only 20% of what your doing is going to be of any benefit to you. So choose your friends wisely & focus on doing less and watch yourself accomplish more!
