Ego's Motivation

The motivation of ego is always manifested in the need for power, attention, & the need for more. Egos most destructive manifestion is the need to feel a sense of separation, which leads to a need for opposition & enemies. With this understanding the can see why christians & christian leaders have to guard our hearts with all diligence. Be honest with yourself. We all deal with ego on some level. The practice of just noticing then submitting the thought to God has the power to eradicate ego.
